Are you experiencing insomnia, fatigue, weight gain, body pains, muscle weakness or are feeling depressed?

You may be suffering from Vitamin D Deficiency!  Vitamin D deficiency is common in the U.S. population. According to a study performed by the Department of Public Health & Social Work, Vitamin D deficiency was considerably more common in those who worked indoors, were overweight, had high blood pressure, low high-density lipoprotein cholesterol level, and were not getting enough daily sun exposure.

The most precise method to measure how much vitamin D is in your body is the 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood test. A level of 30 milliliter to 50 mL is considered sufficient for healthy people. A level between 20mL and 30mL indicates insufficiency and a level less than 20 mL indicates vitamin D deficiency.

Fulfilling vitamin D requirements is difficult to attain through just food and supplements alone once you become deficient. To properly satisfy vitamin D levels after being diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency, patients should seek their physician for prescription high dose vitamin D replacement and or vitamin D injections. You may be surprised by the significant increase in your mood, energy level, sleep and excess weight loss achieved after your vitamin d levels are replaced.

Here at My Concierge MD, we offer testing for vitamin D deficiency, prescription vitamin D and vitamin D injections.
